What has power generation to do with leisure? In Montafon quite a bit, because the power generator illwerke vkw is a leading supporter of tourism: Without the Golmerbahn , Tafamunt- and Vermunt-Seilbahn cableways without Europatreppe 4000 or the reservoirs, Montafon would not no longer be Montafon. In the reservoirs - Vermunt, Silvretta, Kops and Lünersee - swimming is certainly prohibited, but fishing is permitted, and very popular.

Fishing day permits can be obtained by anglers from 18 years old and young people from 12 years old (only in the company of an adult angler holding a day permit) at the mountain station of Lünerseebahn (Brand) cableway, the toll booths of the Silvretta-Hochalpenstraße High Alpine Road and in the Tourist Offices in Gaschurn and Partenen. Only four fish may be caught per day.

"Baggersee "Roter Stein": Fishing day permits can be obtained by anglers from 16 years old and young people from 7 years (only in the company of an adult angler holding a day permit).
